Educational Qualifications

• Candidates should have a B.Sc, Masters Degree from a recognized board.

• Professor: A. For Speciality subjects1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedules or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act). 2. A recognized postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. B. For Super-specialty subjects- 1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedules or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act). AND/OR 2. A recognized postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject. AND/OR 3. M.Ch. for Surgical super – specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5/6 years recognized course)or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Experience: Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or Twelve years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or Eleven years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch./D.M. (3 years or 6 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• Additional Professor: A. For Speciality subjects-1 & 2 same as for Professor (Medical) B. For Super-speciality subjects- 1,2 & 3 same as for Professor (Medical) Experience: Ten years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Or Eight years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• Associate Professor: A. For Speciality subjects-1 & 2 same as for Professor (Medical) B. For Super-speciality subjects- 1,2 & 3 same as for Professor (Medical) Experience: Six years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Four years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• Assistant Professor: A. For Speciality subjects-1 & 2 same as for Professor (Medical) B. For Super-speciality subjects- 1,2 & 3 same as for Professor (Medical) Experience: Three years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR One year of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

• Additional Professor Level-13-A2+ (148200-211400) As per 7th CPCplus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
• Associate Professor Level-13-A1+ (138300-209200) As per 7th CPCplus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
• Assistant Professor Level-12, (101500-167400) As per 7th CPCplus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable)

• Professor Rs. 2,20,000/- per month
• Additional Professor Rs. 2,00,000/- per month
• Associate Professor Rs. 1,88,000/- per month
• Assistant Professor Rs. 1,42,506/- per month
